How it plays

How does Lagrange Point play?

The player explores space colonies from a top-down perspective, enters facilities and towns, talks with residents, searches containers, and advances the story by completing objectives. Movement uses a tile-based field map, while menus handle dialogue choices, items, equipment, and party management.

Battles are turn-based and command-driven. The party can attack, defend, use weapons or items, and employ character abilities. Progress comes from earning experience, improving equipment, recruiting or retaining allies, and opening new areas as the story develops. Different colony sectors provide distinct locations and hazards.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Lagrange Point?

Keep equipment upgraded whenever a new colony or shop becomes available, since weapon strength has a major effect on battle difficulty. Search unfamiliar rooms and speak with every accessible resident before leaving an area; important progress triggers are often tied to conversations or objects.

Use defensive or recovery commands when facing unfamiliar enemies, and conserve limited restorative items during long expeditions. Save frequently, especially before entering a new facility or committing to a major story event.
