How it plays
Races use a third-person perspective on themed tracks populated by hazards, jumps, shortcuts, and item pickups. The objective is to finish ahead of the opposing racers while using weapons and defensive items to protect the lead or disrupt competitors.
Players can compete in individual races and structured championship events. Progression comes from completing events and unlocking additional content, while driving skill depends on cornering, timing boosts, finding shortcuts, and managing pickups.
Plan your run
Learn each track before relying on weapons. Taking a clean inside line through corners is often more valuable than attempting every shortcut.
Save defensive pickups for narrow sections or the final lap, and use offensive items when several opponents are grouped together. Practice drifting and acceleration timing to recover quickly after collisions.

Looney Tunes Racing is a kart-style racing game developed by Infogrames Sheffield House and published by Infogrames for the original PlayStation. It places familiar Looney Tunes characters in fast, weapon-focused races across cartoon-themed tracks. The game emphasizes accessible arcade handling, drifting, shortcuts, and pickups rather than realistic simulation. Players can choose characters with different driving traits and compete through several modes, including championship-style progression and single races. Its bright presentation, recognizable cast, and straightforward multiplayer-friendly design made it a notable cartoon racing release of its period, although contemporary reception was generally mixed because of uneven handling and limited depth compared with leading kart racers.
