How it plays
How does Lunar Pool play?
Lunar Pool presents a top-down view of a cue ball and object balls on unconventional tables. The objective is to pocket the required balls, generally while avoiding fouls and using the table boundaries to plan difficult shots.
Players adjust the cue direction and set the shot before striking. Tables become increasingly complex, with unusual shapes and layouts that alter rebound angles. A two-player mode supports alternating turns, while the single-player game focuses on progressing through a sequence of challenging tables.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Lunar Pool?
Study the entire table before shooting. On irregular layouts, the shortest direct shot is often less reliable than a bank shot that uses a cushion.
Use moderate power whenever possible. Strong shots make rebounds harder to predict and can leave the cue ball in a poor position. Plan the cue ball's resting place as carefully as the target ball's path.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Use the cushions deliberately instead of treating rebounds as accidents.
- 2
Prefer controlled power for position play.
- 3
In two-player games, leave difficult layouts for the opponent when the rules and position allow it.
