Players roll, move around the board, and resolve the space they land on. Unowned properties can be purchased, while owned properties charge rent; players may also build houses and hotels when they control a complete color group.

The game follows the standard board structure, including Chance, Community Chest, taxes, railroads, utilities, Jail, and other special spaces. Turns involve managing cash, negotiating trades, mortgaging property, and deciding when to build. The winner is the last solvent player, unless a selected game option changes the victory conditions.

Preserve cash early and avoid overbuilding before you understand the opponents’ holdings. Completing a color group is usually more valuable than collecting isolated properties, because it enables development and increases rent.

Trade deliberately, watch which properties opponents need, and mortgage less useful assets when necessary. Railroads can provide reliable income, while expensive properties are strongest when developed but can also consume too much cash.
