How it plays

How does Operation C play?

Operation C alternates between side-scrolling action stages and overhead-view areas. The objective is to move through each section, destroy enemies, avoid projectiles and hazards, and defeat the stage boss.

The player can run, jump, fire in multiple directions, and collect weapon power-ups. Side-scrolling sections emphasize platforming and forward movement, while overhead sections allow freer movement around enemies and obstacles.

The campaign is divided into compact stages with boss encounters. Losing all available lives or continuing opportunities sends the player back according to the game’s continuation rules, so preserving lives and learning enemy patterns are central to progression.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Operation C?

Keep moving, but avoid rushing into unfamiliar screens. Enemy patterns are often easier to handle when you advance in short bursts and clear targets before jumping.

Use weapon power-ups thoughtfully and protect them whenever possible. In overhead areas, watch the whole screen rather than focusing only on the direction of travel, because attacks can approach from several angles.

Bosses are safer when you prioritize positioning and survival over constant fire. Learn their attack cycles, maintain room to maneuver, and use continues as practice opportunities rather than spending lives recklessly.
