How it plays
How does Palamedes play?
Dice advance from the top of the screen while the player's launcher remains at the bottom. Move the launcher horizontally, choose a firing lane, and throw the current die into the field. Matching numbered dice clears connected targets and reduces the pressure on the playfield.
The main challenge is managing the limited space while arranging shots for useful matches. Solo play includes a progressive challenge, while the two-player modes place human opponents on the same screen and make efficient clearing important for gaining an advantage.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Palamedes?
Watch the next available die before firing and avoid placing an unmatched die where it blocks several lanes. Clear the lowest dangerous groups first, but use a larger matching opportunity when it removes a broad section of the field. In two-player play, prioritize reliable clears over risky setups, since a missed shot leaves your side crowded while the opponent continues attacking.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Keep the launcher aligned with the target lane before throwing.
- 2
Do not wait until the dice reach the bottom; crowded lanes are harder to repair.
- 3
In two-player games, watch the opponent's field while planning your next clear.
