How it plays

How does Pinball play?

The game uses a vertically scrolling view of a pinball table. Players control the left and right flippers and attempt to keep the ball from falling through the drain while striking bumpers, targets, and other scoring objects.

The table is divided into sections, and successful shots can move the ball between areas. A separate bonus stage changes the objective by having the player guide a falling ball to rescue Pauline. There is no conventional campaign; progression is score-based, with play continuing until the available balls are lost.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Pinball?

Watch the ball’s angle rather than reacting only when it reaches the flippers. Use short, deliberate flipper presses to redirect shots toward targets and avoid unnecessary rebounds.

In the bonus stage, prioritize controlled movement and aim for safe catches. Learn the timing of each table section, since consistent positioning is more valuable than repeatedly striking the same bumper.

Before you begin

What should you know before playing?

  1. 1

Keep both flippers ready when the ball approaches the lower table.

  2. 2

Use the walls and bumpers to alter the ball’s trajectory instead of chasing every shot.

  3. 3

Treat the bonus stage as a timing challenge and avoid hurried movements.
