The game uses a side-view perspective. Mail and her companions travel through connected stages, towns, caves, forests, and fortresses while pursuing the story’s targets and collecting items.

Players attack enemies, jump across hazards, search for treasure, buy or find upgrades, and use character-specific abilities. Mail focuses on close combat, Tatt uses ranged attacks, and Nuts relies on magic. Progress comes from defeating bosses, obtaining key items, and opening new routes.

Explore each area thoroughly before moving on. Break suspicious objects, check alternate paths, and collect currency and restorative items so that later stages are less punishing.

Use the character best suited to the situation: Mail is reliable at close range, Tatt can attack from a safer distance, and Nuts is valuable against enemies vulnerable to magic. Learn boss patterns rather than trading damage, and keep a reserve of healing items before entering a fortress.
