How it plays

How does Predator play?

The game uses a side-view perspective. Dutch moves through horizontally scrolling jungle stages, jumping across terrain, avoiding hazards, and attacking human enemies and other threats.

The main objective is to survive each area and advance toward encounters with the Predator. The player relies on movement, jumping, ranged attacks, and limited resources while dealing with enemy fire and contact damage. Progress is stage-based, with each completed section leading to a harder part of the mission.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Predator?

Move cautiously rather than charging into every enemy formation. Use the terrain to avoid incoming fire, keep distance when a ranged attack is available, and learn the placement of hazards through repeated attempts.

Save health and ammunition for later sections. Short jumps and deliberate movement are generally safer than long blind leaps, especially when enemies are positioned near ledges or screen edges.
