How it plays
Explore the fixed-camera police station and surrounding areas, collect keys and weapons, solve route puzzles, and fight or avoid enemies through Claire's scenario. Claire's weapon and story progression differ from Leon's, and the Dual Shock release adds vibration support and a revised options package. Use the matching save or scenario flow when the game requests the second disc.
Plan your run
Use a stable save before the disc transition, preserve inventory space for puzzle items, and inspect Claire's route for differences instead of assuming Leon's solution is always identical. Avoid spending scarce ammunition on enemies that can be passed, and use the map and camera angles to line up movement before opening a dangerous door.
Resident Evil 2 is a 1998 PlayStation survival-horror game developed and published by Capcom. This Dual Shock edition's Disc 2 is the Claire campaign: Claire Redfield enters Raccoon City while looking for her brother and follows a parallel route through the outbreak. It is intended to continue the two-disc game structure alongside Leon's Disc 1.
