How it plays

How does Return Fire play?

The game uses an overhead perspective. A match usually begins with each side selecting a vehicle, then searching the battlefield for the opposing flag while defending its own base.

Players drive tanks, fly helicopters, or use other specialized vehicles, switching tactics when ammunition, fuel, or vehicle durability becomes a problem. Terrain, buildings, mines, and enemy emplacements affect movement and attack routes. Victory comes from capturing the enemy flag or eliminating the opposing force, depending on the scenario and match conditions.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Return Fire?

Use the vehicle that best fits the terrain rather than choosing the strongest-looking unit. Tanks are useful for direct assaults, while aircraft can cross obstacles and attack from different angles.

Scout before committing to an attack, preserve ammunition, and keep an escape route. In two-player matches, divide responsibilities between flag defense and pressure on the enemy base.
