How it plays

How does Road Fighter play?

The camera looks down a continuously scrolling road. The player steers left and right, accelerates, uses a temporary turbo boost, passes traffic, and avoids obstacles and roadside hazards. Collisions reduce speed and can consume valuable time.

Courses are completed in sequence, with fuel pickups extending the run and checkpoints or stage transitions providing the main sense of progress. The objective is to reach each finish line within the time limit while preserving enough speed and fuel to continue.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Road Fighter?

Stay near the center of the road when traffic is sparse, then make small steering corrections rather than wide movements. Anticipate lane changes early because fast vehicles and hazards can leave little room to recover.

Collect fuel whenever it is safe, but do not sacrifice a likely clean passage for a distant pickup. Save turbo for open stretches or recovery after a difficult overtaking maneuver, and avoid using it immediately before dense traffic or sharp hazards.

Before you begin

What should you know before playing?

  1. 1

Use short steering adjustments to maintain speed.

  2. 2

Treat fuel pickups as part of route planning, not optional bonuses.

  3. 3

Reserve turbo for clear road and important time gains.
