How it plays
How does Rush'n Attack play?
The game uses a two-dimensional side view. The objective is to move from left to right through four enemy-held areas, defeat soldiers and hazards, and reach the stage goal before time expires.
The player can run, crouch, jump, climb ladders, and attack. Knife strikes are the default attack; grenades, bazookas, and flamethrowers can be collected and used for a limited time. Enemy patterns, projectiles, pits, and scrolling-screen hazards create the main challenge. Completing a stage advances the operation, while losing all lives ends the game unless a continue is available.

What is the best way to play Rush'n Attack?
Stay mobile and attack enemies before they enter striking range. The knife is fast and reliable, but approaching directly can be dangerous against firearms and airborne threats.
- Use ladders and crouching to avoid or reposition around attacks.
- Save temporary weapons for dense enemy groups, armored targets, or difficult approaches.
- Learn each stage's enemy entrances and hazards rather than rushing blindly.
- Watch the timer, but do not trade unnecessary lives for speed.
