How it plays
How does Sky Destroyer play?
The view looks forward over the ocean from behind the player’s aircraft. Enemy aircraft approach through the sky, while ships and other naval targets appear on the water. The objective is to destroy targets, survive enemy attacks, and advance through successive combat sections.
The directional pad moves the aircraft, while the action buttons provide the available weapons. Players must manage positioning and timing because targets can arrive from different heights and directions. Progression is score-based and stage-oriented rather than built around upgrades, equipment, or a persistent story.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Sky Destroyer?
Keep the aircraft moving so enemy fire and approaching planes are less predictable. Prioritize immediate aerial threats before spending time lining up attacks on ships.
Use the open water to judge target distance and approach angle. Short, deliberate movements are safer than holding one direction continuously, especially when several targets appear together.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Watch the horizon and waterline for incoming targets.
- 2
Deal with enemy aircraft before stationary naval targets when both are present.
- 3
Use controlled directional taps to avoid drifting into hazards.
