How it plays
How does Spy Hunter play?
The camera follows the Interceptor from behind as the road scrolls upward. The objective is to drive as far as possible, destroy enemy vehicles, avoid hazards, and collect or use weapons while maintaining control at speed.
Road sections feature hostile cars, trucks, and other obstacles. At suitable points, the Interceptor can enter water and continue as a boat, changing the hazards and movement demands. The player uses the machine guns and limited special weapons to clear threats; progress is based on survival and distance rather than completing conventional racing laps.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Spy Hunter?
Stay near the center of the road until an enemy’s movement is clear, then make small steering corrections rather than sharp swerves. Use the machine guns early to remove vehicles that would otherwise force a collision.
Save special weapons for crowded sections or threats that cannot be passed safely. During water segments, watch the available space ahead and avoid spending all offensive options before the route becomes difficult.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Use short steering adjustments; overcorrecting is a common cause of crashes.
- 2
Fire before an enemy reaches the Interceptor instead of waiting for point-blank range.
- 3
Treat special weapons as defensive tools when the road or waterway becomes crowded.
