How it plays

How does Spy vs. Spy play?

Two spies explore separate views of the same building, searching rooms for required items and an escape route. Doors, furniture, and containers can conceal useful objects or traps.

Players can place hazards, collect equipment, and interfere with the opponent before reaching the airport. A round ends when a spy escapes or the time limit expires. Success depends on learning room layouts, remembering item locations, and predicting the other player's route.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Spy vs. Spy?

Search efficiently and memorize where important objects appear. Avoid spending too long in a room, because the rival can use that time to collect items or prepare a trap.

Check suspicious furniture and doorways carefully, and vary your route after finding an objective. In two-player games, listening for sounds and watching the opponent's progress can be as valuable as moving quickly.
