How it plays
How does Sugoro Quest: Dice no Senshitachi play?
The player guides a group of fantasy adventurers across a sequence of map routes. Dice results determine movement, while spaces and encounters lead to battles, events, shops, or other forms of progress.
Battles use turn-based commands rather than direct action controls. The player selects actions for the party, manages hit points and resources, and relies on character abilities and equipment to overcome enemies. Completing a route advances the quest, while unfavorable rolls or careless resource use can make later encounters more difficult.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Sugoro Quest: Dice no Senshitachi?
Plan movement around the spaces ahead instead of treating every dice roll as equally valuable. Preserve healing and other limited resources before entering routes where repeated encounters are likely.
Use the party's different abilities deliberately in battles, and avoid spending turns on low-value actions against weak enemies. Because movement and some outcomes depend on dice, a cautious approach and preparation for unlucky rolls are more reliable than rushing toward the goal.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Keep the party supplied before committing to a longer route.
- 2
Treat dice luck as a risk to manage: conserve resources when the next spaces are unknown.
