How it plays
How does Tennis play?
Matches take place on a single court viewed from the side. The objective is to win points by placing the ball where the opponent cannot return it, while keeping legal shots inside the court. The player moves the competitor with the directional pad and chooses between a standard stroke and a lob.
The game supports singles and doubles play, with computer-controlled opponents available for solo matches and competitive play available for two players. Serves begin each point, and rallies continue until the ball lands out, fails to clear the net, or cannot be returned. Progression is match-based rather than built around a campaign, character growth, or unlockable equipment.

What is the best way to play Tennis?
Use the directional pad to reach the ball early, then aim your return toward open court. A lob is useful when the opponent is close to the net, but it gives a distant opponent more time to recover.
On serve, vary placement instead of repeatedly targeting the same area. In doubles, cover the court with your partner and avoid chasing the same ball. Watch the ball’s trajectory rather than the player sprite when timing a swing.
