How it plays

How does Threads of Fate play?

The game is viewed from a third-person perspective. Players explore towns, fields, ruins, towers, and other dungeons while completing objectives for the selected protagonist. Each hero has a different combat system and story route.

Rue fights directly and can learn monster abilities by transforming into defeated enemies. Mint attacks with offensive and support magic. Progression comes from discovering new abilities, collecting equipment and items, solving environmental puzzles, and advancing through story events. The two campaigns revisit some locations but provide different objectives, scenes, and encounters.

What is the best way to play Threads of Fate?

Learn enemy patterns before committing to attacks, especially in crowded rooms and boss arenas. Rue’s transformations are most useful when their movement or attack properties solve a specific encounter, so experiment with new forms rather than relying on one favorite ability.

Mint should preserve magic resources and switch between spells according to enemy weaknesses and positioning. Explore side paths for equipment, money, and ability-related rewards, and save before major story events or bosses.
