How it plays
How does Tiger-Heli play?
The screen scrolls vertically as the helicopter advances through a sequence of stages. Players move in eight directions, fire continuously or repeatedly, destroy ground and airborne targets, and use bombs to clear threats or damage enemies.
Power-ups improve the helicopter's shot, while support pods increase its firepower and can absorb some enemy attacks. A stage ends with a boss encounter, and losing all lives ends the game unless the player continues.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Tiger-Heli?
Stay near the lower portion of the screen, where incoming threats are easier to read and there is more time to react. Avoid hugging the edges because enemy bullets and formations can leave little escape room.
Collect power-ups when the route is safe, but do not risk a life for a bonus. Save bombs for dense bullet patterns, difficult crossings, and bosses rather than using them immediately.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Learn enemy entry points and recurring bullet patterns through repeated attempts.
- 2
Keep moving in short, controlled adjustments instead of making large uncontrolled sweeps.
- 3
Use bombs before becoming trapped; unused bombs provide no benefit after a death.
