How it plays
The game uses a side-view perspective. Buster progresses through themed stages modeled after different film genres, moving from left to right while avoiding pits, projectiles, moving obstacles, and enemies.
The main actions are running, jumping, and attacking. Levels contain collectibles and checkpoints or recovery opportunities, and boss encounters or set-piece challenges provide major stopping points. Progress is primarily linear: completing one movie-themed stage unlocks the next.
Plan your run
Learn the timing of each stage's hazards before rushing forward. Short jumps are safer around enemies and platforms, while a longer running jump is useful for wide gaps.
Collect useful items when the route is safe, but do not trade health for optional pickups. Save your attacks for enemies blocking narrow passages, and approach boss or set-piece areas slowly so that their patterns can be read.

Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Montana's Movie Madness is a side-scrolling action platformer developed and published by Konami for the Game Boy. Buster Bunny enters a series of movie-inspired worlds after Montana Max causes trouble, with each setting presenting its own enemies, hazards, and visual theme. The game is built for short, stage-based play. Buster runs, jumps, defeats enemies, collects items, and reaches the end of each scene while managing a limited supply of health. Its compact levels and recognizable cartoon cast made it a straightforward portable follow-up, although contemporary opinions generally regarded it as competent rather than exceptional.
