How it plays
The game is viewed from a side-scrolling perspective. The objective is to guide a selected Turtle through linear stages, defeat Foot Clan enemies, avoid hazards, and reach the end-of-stage boss.
Players move, jump, and attack with the Turtle's weapon. The four Turtles provide slight differences in reach and handling, but the core structure remains consistent. Progression comes from clearing successive stages rather than from an inventory or character-level system.
Plan your run
Learn the timing of each Turtle's attack before rushing into enemy groups. Keep moving through stages, use jumps to control positioning, and attack bosses from a safe distance whenever the stage layout permits.
Choose Donatello when reach is more useful than speed, and use Raphael or Michelangelo when close-range attacks are easier to land. Preserve health by avoiding unnecessary contact with ordinary enemies.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan is a 1990 Game Boy action platformer developed and published by Konami. It adapts the animated-series version of the heroes into a compact side-scrolling adventure in which the Turtles fight through Foot Clan forces and rescue April O'Neil. Players can choose among Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael, each represented with a different weapon and combat style. The game uses short stages, straightforward jumping, weapon attacks, enemy encounters, and boss battles. Its colorful presentation and recognizable license made it a notable handheld release, although its limited length and relatively simple mechanics received more mixed reactions than Konami's larger console games.
