How it plays
Breed and manage capsule monsters, place them on a grid, move them through terrain, and battle opposing pieces using chess-like turn-based rules. The game mixes monster collection and growth with board positioning rather than using the standard Yu-Gi-Oh! card-duel format.
Plan your run
Check terrain and movement range before committing a monster, keep complementary pieces near one another, and build a team that can attack from more than one distance. Save before breeding or major roster decisions because the Japanese version may not explain every consequence in English.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster Capsule: Breed and Battle is a 1998 Japanese PlayStation simulation and turn-based strategy game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Shinjuku and published by Konami.
