How it plays
Explore the mission areas, collect an animal's DNA by touching it, morph into the available creatures, use each form's movement or combat ability, and resolve turn-based battles against the invasion. The European cartridge includes English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian text and uses passwords for progress.
Plan your run
Choose the morph that fits the obstacle rather than only the strongest attack, remember the password after a successful mission, and preserve a state before a battle or irreversible route. Keep track of the active form because some forms can climb, swim, or fly while others cannot.
Animorphs is the European multilingual Game Boy Color adventure and RPG based on K. A. Applegate's books. Runny-Fun developed it for Ubi Soft, and the player uses animal morphs to fight Yeerks, Hork-Bajir, and Taxxons while completing the mission route.
