How it plays

How does Bust-A-Move Pocket play?

The playfield is viewed from the front, with a launcher at the bottom and colored bubbles arranged above it. Move the aiming direction, fire a bubble, and connect it to at least two bubbles of the same color to create a group of three or more and clear it.

The objective is to remove the entire arrangement before bubbles reach the lower boundary. Stages introduce different layouts and colors, requiring direct shots, wall bounces, and deliberate setup moves. Cleared bubbles can also detach connected groups, making accurate shots valuable for large chain reactions.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Bust-A-Move Pocket?

Plan around the bubbles supporting larger clusters rather than simply removing the nearest match. Use the side walls for bank shots when a direct line is blocked.

Save useful colors when possible, and look for shots that clear a support point so an entire hanging section falls. Avoid leaving awkward single bubbles that restrict the launcher’s remaining angles.
