The game includes multiple pool formats and supports practice, competitive play, and two-player matches. Progress depends on legal ball selection, careful cue-ball control, and taking advantage of an opponent's mistakes rather than simply making the strongest possible shot.

Use soft shots when position matters more than distance. After each successful pot, plan the cue ball's route to the next object ball instead of focusing only on the current target.

In nine-ball and other rotation-based play, look for safety opportunities when a direct pot is unlikely. Avoid unnecessary power, since a hard shot makes cue-ball control and defensive positioning more difficult.
