How it plays

How does Clay Fighter 2: Judgment Clay play?

Players choose a clay character and fight through a sequence of one-on-one matches. The objective is to deplete the opponent’s life bar before the round timer expires.

The game includes a single-player tournament and versus play. Fighters can walk, jump, crouch, guard, attack, and use individual special moves. Winning matches advances the character through the tournament, while losing generally ends the run.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Clay Fighter 2: Judgment Clay?

Learn the range and recovery of each character’s normal attacks before relying on special moves. Staying close to an opponent can make throws and short attacks effective, but reckless attacks are easy to punish.

Against the computer, block first and retaliate after missed attacks. In versus play, vary jumping approaches and low attacks rather than repeating one special move.
