How it plays
How does Cruis'n World play?
Races take place from a third-person perspective on courses inspired by locations around the world. The objective is to reach the finish before rival drivers while avoiding traffic, barriers, and environmental hazards.
Players steer, accelerate, brake or reverse, and use boosts to maintain speed. Courses contain jumps, shortcuts, and stunt opportunities. Winning races opens later destinations and vehicles, while multiplayer provides competitive split-screen events for up to four players.
Plan your run
What is the best way to play Cruis'n World?
Learn each course's major turns, jumps, and shortcut entrances before trying to maximize speed. A clean racing line is usually more valuable than constant boosting.
Save boosts for long straights or recoveries after jumps, and brake before tight corners rather than steering through them at full speed. In multiplayer, watch traffic and hazards as carefully as the other racers.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Use braking briefly before sharp bends, then accelerate out of the turn.
- 2
Look ahead for traffic and obstacles instead of reacting at the last moment.
- 3
Practice shortcuts in multiplayer or repeated runs before relying on them in a campaign race.
