How it plays
How does Extreme-G XG2 play?
Races take place from a behind-the-bike perspective on enclosed futuristic circuits. The objective is to finish ahead of opponents while managing acceleration, braking, steering, weapons, and track hazards.
Single-player progression moves through a sequence of increasingly difficult events, with stronger competition and more demanding layouts. Multiplayer provides competitive racing for multiple players, while weapons and pickups add an offensive and defensive layer to each race.

What is the best way to play Extreme-G XG2?
Learn each circuit before prioritizing attacks. Maintaining a clean racing line is usually more valuable than firing at every opponent, especially on narrow sections and high-speed turns.
Save weapons for overtaking opportunities, defensive situations, or dangerous sections where an opponent is likely to lose control. Brake early for sharp corners, then accelerate once the motorcycle is aligned with the exit.
Before you begin
What should you know before playing?
- 1
Use braking before tight turns rather than trying to steer through them at maximum speed.
- 2
Treat weapons as race-position tools: use them to protect a lead or create a safe overtaking chance.
