How it plays
Navigate maze-like scenes, collect all the presents within the time limit, and avoid detection by the citizens of Who-ville. Some scenes let the player control Max, and the seven-scene structure mixes Pac-Man-like collection with light stealth and route planning.
Plan your run
Study the patrol and maze layout before crossing an exposed route, collect presents in a safe order, and leave a retreat path when an enemy approaches. Use Max's scene-specific abilities when available rather than treating every stage as the same collection loop.
The Grinch is the Japanese Game Boy Color maze and stealth game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Nagoya and published by Konami. It is based on How the Grinch Stole Christmas and puts the Grinch and his dog Max into a present-stealing adventure.
