How it plays
The campaign uses a side-scrolling perspective with three selectable horizontal planes. Players move between planes to avoid attacks, approach enemies, and control the flow of crowded encounters. The main objective is to defeat enemy groups while advancing through branching stages and story decisions.
Characters use normal attacks, special techniques, magic, jumps, throws, and defensive movement. Experience and level gains improve the selected hero during the campaign. A separate versus mode allows battles between characters and enemies, while multiplayer supports cooperative or competitive play depending on the mode.
Plan your run
Use the three planes to separate enemies and avoid being surrounded. Move between lanes before large attacks connect, then punish opponents with short attack strings rather than committing to long animations.
Build experience on the character you intend to use, and learn each hero's magic range and recovery time. In multiplayer, divide enemies between players instead of striking the same target blindly.
