How it plays
The game uses a horizontal side view. The selected hero runs, jumps across platforms, attacks nearby enemies, and defeats a boss at the end of each stage. Enemies and hazards are placed around compact action-oriented areas rather than in a free-roaming map.
Players progress through a sequence of stages, learning enemy patterns and conserving health before boss fights. The two playable heroes provide an important variation in handling and attack style, while story sequences connect the stages and advance the rescue mission.
Plan your run
Use short attacks while staying close enough to control enemy spacing, then retreat when several enemies approach at once. Jumping is useful for both avoiding contact damage and reaching safe positions.
Study boss attack cycles instead of rushing. Clear ordinary enemies before entering narrow spaces, and approach each boss with as much health as possible.

Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman III: Ikai no Princess is a Japanese side-scrolling action game developed and published by Naxat Soft for the PC Engine Super CD-ROM². Players control one of two enhanced heroes who enter another world to rescue a princess and stop a supernatural threat. The game combines platforming, close-range combat, stage hazards, and boss encounters, with CD audio and story scenes supporting its colorful presentation. Its structure follows the conventions of early-1990s console action games, but the alternate-world setting and character-focused presentation give it a distinctive identity. Reception has generally regarded it as a solid and enjoyable continuation of the Shubibinman series, especially for fans of PC Engine action titles.
