How it plays
How does Micro Machines play?
Races are viewed from above, with the camera following the player’s vehicle through compact courses. The objective is to reach the finish first, or to eliminate opponents by forcing them off the track or far enough behind that they leave the screen.
Courses use household settings as obstacle-filled circuits. Players steer around corners, avoid gaps and hazards, and adapt to different miniature vehicles. Events and races provide progression through increasingly demanding tracks, while multiplayer modes focus on repeated head-to-head competition.

What is the best way to play Micro Machines?
Learn each course’s boundaries before trying to drive at maximum speed. In Micro Machines, staying on the track is usually more valuable than taking a risky shortcut.
Use wide turns when possible, brake or release acceleration before sharp corners, and watch the screen edges during multiplayer races. Memorizing hazards and anticipating opponents’ lines is often more effective than reacting after a collision.
