How it plays

How does Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition play?

The game is a side-view, one-on-one fighting game. Each match takes place in a single arena, and the objective is to reduce the opponent's life gauge before the timer expires.

Players walk, jump, block, attack, use special weapons, and perform throws. Story mode presents a sequence of battles with a selected fighter, while versus play allows two players to fight directly. Winning matches advances the player through the opponent ladder.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition?

Learn the reach and recovery time of each fighter before relying on special moves. Keep enough distance to recognize projectile attacks, then punish missed attacks with a strong counter or throw.

Blocking is especially important against large characters with long-reaching attacks. In story mode, watch the opponent's repeated patterns and use short attacks to interrupt them rather than trading damage.
