The Green Ranger and one of the principal playable Rangers.
How it plays
The game uses a side-scrolling perspective. The objective is to move through each stage, defeat waves of enemies, avoid hazards, and reach the boss encounter at the end.
Players can move, jump across platforms, and attack at close range. Stages follow a linear structure, with progress determined by clearing encounters rather than by exploration or item collection. The selected Ranger remains the central playable character, while bosses and enemy formations provide the main difficulty changes.
Plan your run
Learn the timing of the basic attack instead of rushing into enemy groups. Approach one enemy at a time when possible, jump over attacks and hazards, and keep enough room to retreat before a boss pattern begins.
Against bosses, prioritize survival over rapid damage. Watch for repeated attack patterns, strike during recovery windows, and avoid standing at the edge of the screen where movement options are limited.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie is a 1995 Game Gear action game developed by SIMS and published by Bandai. It adapts the events and characters of the feature film, sending the Rangers into a side-scrolling battle against Ivan Ooze and his forces. The game combines platforming with straightforward beat-'em-up combat. Players control a Ranger, move through compact stages, defeat enemies, and use special abilities to reach the end of each scenario. Its portable presentation is more limited than the home-console versions, but it was a recognizable licensed release for Game Gear owners and generally received attention for bringing the movie theme to Sega's handheld.
