How it plays

How does Military Madness play?

The game uses a top-down, tile-based view of lunar battlefields. The player moves military units across different terrain and seeks to destroy the opposing force or fulfill the map’s victory condition.

Turns are divided between the player and the computer. Units have different movement capabilities and combat strengths, while terrain affects mobility and survivability. Capturing or holding important locations, coordinating attacks, and preserving damaged units are central to progression through the scenario sequence.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Military Madness?

  • Study terrain before moving; mountains, forests, and other terrain can change the value of an attack.
  • Concentrate several units against one enemy instead of making isolated attacks.
  • Protect weakened units and use favorable terrain when retreating.
  • Check fuel and ammunition limitations before committing to a long advance.
