Ms. Pac-Man
The playable heroine who explores the three-dimensional mazes and searches for Pac-Man.
How it plays
The game uses a third-person 3D perspective. Ms. Pac-Man explores maze-like stages, collects pellets and fruit, avoids or defeats ghosts, and searches for keys or switches that open new paths.
Stages are grouped into themed areas with multiple routes and hazards. Power items temporarily let Ms. Pac-Man confront ghosts, while jumps and careful positioning are needed around gaps and obstacles. Progress comes from clearing objectives and advancing through the worlds rather than from an endless arcade score chase.
Plan your run
Learn each maze before chasing every collectible. Check side paths for keys, switches, fruit, and power items, and use the camera to look around corners before committing to a route.
Save power items for crowded areas or unavoidable ghost encounters. When a stage contains jumps or narrow platforms, slow movement and camera control are more valuable than speed.

Ms. Pac-Man: Maze Madness is a 3D arcade maze game developed and published by Namco for the Nintendo 64. It reworks the classic pellet-clearing formula into an adventure spread across themed worlds and interconnected mazes. Players guide Ms. Pac-Man through hazards, enemies, switches, collectibles, and locked routes while searching for Pac-Man. The game combines familiar arcade rules with platforming and exploration, including jumps and environmental puzzles. Its colorful presentation and accessible structure were generally received as a friendly, inventive expansion of the classic character, although critics often found the camera and later challenges less consistent than the original arcade games. It is best suited to players who enjoy short maze challenges with light adventure progression.
