How it plays
Players view the action from a first-person perspective and complete missions with specific objectives, such as retrieving items, rescuing allies, planting devices, or escaping an area. Many missions reward observation and careful use of weapons, gadgets, disguises, and alternate routes rather than constant shooting.
The campaign is divided into missions with selectable difficulty levels. Solo missions can be played cooperatively, and Counter-Operative mode lets another player control an enemy agent. Combat Simulator multiplayer supports free-for-all and team matches, computer-controlled opponents, arenas, weapons, and rule settings.
Plan your run
Study the objective list before engaging enemies, because many missions can fail after alarms, time limits, or key characters are lost. Use silencers and stealth where available, and search rooms for access cards, terminals, ammunition, and alternate routes.
Replay missions on higher difficulties to learn tighter objectives and unlock additional content. In multiplayer, vary weapon sets and bot difficulty rather than relying on one dominant weapon, and use radar information without exposing your position unnecessarily.
