How it plays

How does Pit-Fighter play?

The game uses a side-on view of a single arena. The objective is to defeat the opposing fighter or survive the round while maintaining enough health to continue through the tournament.

Players move, punch, kick, jump, and use weapons or objects found in the arena. Matches include regular opponents and tougher named fighters, with spectators and hazards adding pressure. Progression is based on winning successive bouts; the available fighters differ in speed, strength, and reach.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Pit-Fighter?

Learn the range and recovery time of each fighter's punch and kick before committing to long attacks. Short attacks followed by movement are generally safer than standing in front of an opponent.

Use arena objects and dropped weapons whenever possible, but do not ignore incoming attacks while searching for them. Preserve health by jumping away from corner pressure, and exploit openings after an opponent misses a heavy strike.
