Players travel between towns and routes, talk to characters, manage the party, equip allies, choose battle commands, and advance through story events. The campaign combines exploration with turn-based or command-driven encounters, so preparation and party composition matter between major scenes.

Keep healing and equipment ready before a long route, and make a save before important conversations or a new dungeon. Track the Japanese objective after each event, develop complementary party roles, and do not mix states with the English translation because text and ROM data can differ.
