Sailor Moon
The central Sailor Guardian and a playable fighter.
How it plays
The game presents one-on-one fights on a side-view screen. Players select a Sailor Guardian, defeat an opposing character, and advance through a sequence of battles. Each fighter has different normal attacks, movement properties, and special techniques.
The main structure is a single-player progression mode, with versus play available for local competition. Winning requires managing distance, jumping over attacks, blocking, and finding openings for repeated attacks or character-specific moves. Exact move commands vary by fighter and are not listed here without a verified version-specific command table.
Plan your run
Learn the spacing and attack range of the selected Guardian before relying on special techniques. Short, controlled attacks are safer than repeatedly approaching with jumps.
Block when the opponent begins a close-range sequence, then counter after the final attack misses or is guarded. In two-player matches, vary timing and distance rather than repeating the same move.

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon SuperS: Zenin Sanka!! Shuyaku Soudatsusen is a 1996 Super Nintendo fighting game developed and published by Angel. It adapts the Sailor Moon SuperS period into a colorful one-on-one combat format, bringing the Sailor Guardians together to compete for the spotlight. Matches use side-view arenas, character-specific attacks, jumps, blocking, and special techniques. The game is notable for giving the SuperS cast a dedicated console fighting-game treatment rather than presenting a simple action or story game. Reception is generally defined by its appealing character presentation and faithful anime atmosphere, while its mechanics are often viewed as less deep than those of the strongest fighting games on the system.
