Players coordinate or control three heroes, move through fields and dungeons, attack, cast magic, use special techniques, equip the party, change classes, and progress through story events. The three-player hack can change input, camera, party control, or balance, so the patched ROM is its own version.

Test all three controllers in a safe area, keep players within support range, and save before class changes or bosses. Keep the combined patched state separate from the two-player or original files, and record both patch versions when reporting input or multiplayer behavior.
