How it plays
How does Shin SD Sengokuden: Daishogun Retsuden play?
Battles use a tactical, overhead map view. The player generally wins by defeating the opposing army or completing the scenario objective, while positioning units carefully around terrain and enemy attack ranges.
Units can move, attack, and use character-specific abilities during alternating turns. Story progress unlocks additional scenarios and playable warriors, with preparation and unit selection playing an important role between battles. The exact rules and menus are presented in Japanese.

What is the best way to play Shin SD Sengokuden: Daishogun Retsuden?
Protect weaker units by keeping them behind tougher warriors and avoid advancing one character beyond the support range of the rest of the army.
Before committing to an attack, check movement and enemy reach. Completing the scenario objective is usually more important than chasing every opposing unit.
