How it plays

How does Spider-Man play?

The game is played from a third-person perspective. Spider-Man moves through linear stages, defeats enemies, rescues civilians, gathers clues, and reaches scripted objectives. Web attacks, punches, kicks, jumps, wall movement, and web-swinging let him navigate spaces and manage encounters.

The campaign is divided into missions with changing goals, including combat, pursuit, stealth-like movement, and boss fights. Collectibles and challenge objectives encourage replay, while the training area helps demonstrate movement and web techniques.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Spider-Man?

Use web attacks to control groups before committing to melee combat. Keep moving during boss encounters and learn each arena's safe routes.

Search side areas for comic-book pages and other collectibles. Save web fluid for traversal or emergencies, and use spider-sense warnings to avoid attacks that are difficult to see.
