How it plays
The game uses a side-view platform-fighting perspective. Players attempt to defeat opponents by increasing damage and launching them beyond the stage boundaries, rather than reducing a conventional health bar.
Spider-Man can run, jump, perform aerial attacks, recover from falls, defend with a shield, and use his character-specific moves. Matches take place in Smash-style arenas, with progression determined by the selected mode, stage, stock, and time settings.
Plan your run
Use Spider-Man’s mobility to control the air and return safely to the stage. Short aerial attacks can help approach opponents, while web-based moves are most useful when their range and recovery timing are understood.
Avoid relying on a single special move. Vary grounded attacks, aerial pressure, shielding, and grabs, and watch the opponent’s damage before attempting a launch.

Spider-Man in Smash Remix is a Nintendo 64 fan-made fighting game project built around the Smash Remix modification of Super Smash Bros. It adds Spider-Man as a playable fighter to the platform-fighting framework, using his mobility and web-based attacks within crossover-style arenas. The project is associated with the community-developed Smash Remix Team rather than an officially licensed publisher. Its reception is primarily within the Nintendo 64 modding and Super Smash Bros. communities, where it is noted for expanding the original game with new fighters, stages, and features.
