How it plays
How does The Firemen play?
The game uses a top-down perspective. Pete advances through a burning building, extinguishes flames, avoids hazards, and rescues trapped civilians before reaching the end of each section.
The fire continually creates pressure as flames spread and hazards appear. Water is useful for larger areas and distance, while the extinguisher handles nearby fires. Danny follows Pete and assists during firefighting. Progress is arranged as a sequence of incident areas ending in major emergency situations and boss-like fire encounters.
