How it plays

How does True Lies play?

The game uses a top-down perspective. Harry moves through mission areas, searches for objectives, rescues hostages, defeats enemies, and reaches the extraction point. Levels contain doors, barriers, supplies, explosive hazards, and enemy patrols.

Progression is mission-based rather than experience-driven. Players switch among available weapons and manage ammunition while completing a sequence of increasingly demanding stages. The emphasis is on positioning, rapid shooting, and learning enemy layouts.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play True Lies?

Move cautiously around corners and avoid entering open areas before checking enemy positions. Conserve stronger weapons and explosives for groups, armored enemies, or dangerous encounters.

Search side paths for ammunition and health items, but do not linger when enemies can surround Harry. During objective missions, learn the route between the target and the exit before spending limited supplies.
