How it plays

How does Turok: Rage Wars play?

The game is viewed from a first-person perspective. In solo missions, the player completes combat objectives, defeats hostile creatures or opposing warriors, and advances through a sequence of challenge maps. Weapons can be collected and switched during play, while health and ammunition management affect each encounter.

Multiplayer supports split-screen battles with several competitive rule sets, and cooperative play allows players to tackle combat scenarios together. Different character abilities and weapon combinations encourage experimentation, but success mainly depends on movement, aiming, arena awareness, and controlling valuable pickups.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play Turok: Rage Wars?

Learn the layout of each arena before committing to a fight. High-value weapons and ammunition are often more important than chasing an opponent, so control routes leading to pickups and avoid crossing open ground without cover.

In solo missions, conserve powerful ammunition for durable enemies and keep moving while tracking threats by sound. In multiplayer, vary your approach: strafing, vertical movement, and ambushes are generally safer than standing in open areas and trading shots.
