How it plays

How does WWF No Mercy play?

Matches are viewed from a third-person perspective around a wrestling ring. Players weaken opponents with strikes and grapples, then use throws, submissions, pin attempts, ring movement, and environmental tactics to win under the selected match rules.

Modes include standard singles and tag matches, title bouts, tournaments, and the branching Quest mode. Wrestlers can be customized with different moves, entrances, attributes, and appearance options, while victories and progression unlock additional content.

Plan your run

What is the best way to play WWF No Mercy?

Build momentum before attempting a finishing move. Repeatedly using the same attack makes it easier for the opponent to reverse, so vary strikes, grapples, Irish whips, and running attacks.

In longer matches, target damaged body parts and use submissions when the opponent is weakened. Save a finisher for a reliable pin opportunity, and watch the referee position in tag matches before making a cover.
