How it plays
The game uses a side-view perspective. Choose Batman or Robin, move through linear stages, defeat enemies, avoid hazards, and reach a boss at the end of each chapter.
The heroes can jump, attack at close range, and use ranged or special weapons. Stages include moving platforms, environmental traps, vertical sections, and timed hazards. Defeated bosses and completed stages advance the story, while limited health and lives make careful movement important.
Plan your run
Learn enemy attack patterns before advancing, especially in narrow corridors and trap-filled rooms. Avoid rushing into groups; eliminate ranged enemies first whenever possible.
Conserve health and special attacks for boss encounters. Use the edge of the screen and safe platform positions to control enemy spacing, and practice difficult sections until their hazards can be anticipated.

The Adventures of Batman & Robin is a side-scrolling action platformer developed by Clockwork Tortoise and published by Konami for the Sega Genesis. It adapts the animated-series version of Batman, pairing Batman with Robin against a lineup of Gotham villains. Players fight through heavily staged levels filled with platforming, traps, projectiles, and large boss encounters. The game is notable for its dark presentation, demanding difficulty, and fast action, although its challenge and occasionally punishing enemy patterns divided players. It is generally regarded as one of the stronger Batman games on the Genesis, especially for its visual style and ambitious level design.
